Columbia/Barnard Hillel - Movie Screening "Screams Before Silence"

Join Hillel for a screening of Sheryl Sandberg’s powerful documentary “Screams Before Silence” to bear witness to what took place by Hamas on Oct. 7th, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Sheryl. Pre-registration is required.

Jewish ERGs - Ceremony of Remembrance

The Event will last for 1 hour with 30 minutes dedicated to a ceremony of rememberance followed by smaller breakout rooms providing space for smaller convestations and personal reflection on the past year.

Institute for Jewish Spirituality - Ceremony of Remembrance
Date: Monday, October 7, 2024
Time: 12:30pm and 8pm EST

Each session will be led by Rabbi Marc Margolius, VP of Faculty and Program, who will hold space in which we can connect with each other, share, pray, sit together, and recite the mourner's kaddish. Participants are invited to have a yahrzeit candle (or other candle) to light together and use in our meditation.
