Worth a Detour: Black Building Corridor Mural

Part vintage photography exhibit, part history lesson, part eye-catching addition to unadorned walls—the new Black Building corridor mural is all of these. Designed by the prominent museum-exhibition design firm Ralph Appelbaum Associates, it is installed in the first-floor corridor, near the X Caffe.

Each of the four sections has a different focus: education, research, patient care, or student life. The photos include such treasures as medical school application headshots of well-known faculty and historical photos of clinical scenes.
