New VP&S Faculty

The VP&S Office of Faculty Affairs has provided this list of full-time faculty who joined the medical school in April and June.

• Mazin I. Abdullah, MD, Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Boris Nicolas Bloch, MD, Radiology: Bloch specializes in breast and prostate imaging and MRI research. He is known for his work developing MRI techniques to improve the detection and treatment of breast and prostate cancer.
• Nicolas Ola Kvist, MD, Radiology
• Mia A. Lee, PsyD, Psychiatry: Lee is a licensed clinical psychologist working with individuals who present with a wide range of difficulties involving emotion dysregulation, including personality, anxiety, and mood disorders as well as post-traumatic stress disorder and experiences with trauma. Her research interests include the effects of trauma exposure on maternal mental health and related parenting risk factors, particularly within mother-child dyads.
• C. Anthoney Lim, MD, Pediatrics (in Emergency Medicine): Lim is pediatric medical director for the Department of Emergency Medicine, overseeing clinical operations, quality, and safety for children seen in EDs at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, NYP-Westchester, and NYP-Allen. His focus areas include faculty development, health equity, asthma and allergic diseases, pediatric observation medicine, and health care delivery systems.
• Jorge L. Mejias Ramos, MD, Obstetrics/Gynecology: Mejias Ramos is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with an interest in reducing health disparities, providing care for the LGBTQ+ community, and educating patients in sexual health and prevention.
• Mzimeli M. Morris, MD, Obstetrics & Gynecology: Morris is a board-certified generalist ob/gyn and the new director of labor & delivery at NYP-Westchester. She has a passion for evidence-based equitable maternal infant health.
