New VP&S Faculty

The VP&S Office of Faculty Affairs has provided this list of full-time faculty who joined the medical school in Nov. 2024:

• Dalfry J. Gutierrez, DPT, Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine
• Jason G. Birnbaum, MD, Radiology: Birnbaum joins Columbia as an assistant professor of radiology in the divisions of emergency radiology and abdominal imaging.
• Tsui San Ho, MD, Anesthesiology
• Tomer Levy, MD, Psychiatry
• Shannique L. Richards, PhD, Psychiatry: Richards is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides services in the Neurological Institute and Women's Programs. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, couples, and families. She is interested in the impact of trauma on health outcomes, women's mental health, perinatal and reproductive mental health, and stress-related issues.
• Sanya  J. Thomas, MD, Pediatrics: Thomas joins the Pediatric Transplant & Immunocompromised Host (PITCH) Infectious Diseases team as an attending physician at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York. Her research centers around risk factors and outcomes of viral infections in immunocompromised patients and exploring the host-pathogen interface using markers of immune function.
