Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, gave the commencement address.
PhD Hooding Ceremony
Mentors and family gathered May 13 to celebrate graduates of the Coordinated Doctoral Programs in Biomedical Sciences at VP&S at the annual hooding ceremony, where the blue hood representing the Doctor of Philosophy degree is draped over graduates by their mentors. During the academic year, 86 students earned PhDs from the programs.
