Launching 2024 CUIMC Well-Being Survey

Dear Colleagues:

We are excited to launch today the 2024 CUIMC Well-Being Survey to learn more about the workplace experiences of employees across CUIMC and its four schools. Your voice and perspective are important to us, and we would deeply appreciate your participation.

The first Well-Being Survey, conducted in fall 2022, provided a foundational understanding of our colleagues’ professional well-being, which helped to inform efforts across the medical center including Simple is Better; the Well-Being Best Practices Toolkit for Leaders; and new leadership trainings.

Led by the Office of Well-Being, the 2024 survey aims to build on our previous learnings to help us better understand CUIMC employees’ workplace experiences, professional development opportunities, and more.

The 2024 survey is brief, anonymous, and open to all employees of CUIMC and its four schools; you do not need to provide your UNI to participate. Transparency is a guiding principle of the survey, and we will share our findings after we have compiled and assessed survey responses.

The deadline for completing the CUIMC Well-Being Survey is Friday, Oct. 11, 11:59 p.m., though we suggest that you participate at your earliest opportunity.

Every person who completes the survey can enter for a chance to win one of 15 complimentary prix-fixe lunches at the Faculty Club for you and a guest, or one of 15 gift cards for $25. (Note: personal information provided for the drawing is held separately from survey responses.)

Your input is critical as we continue to enhance professional well-being across CUIMC, and we hope you will take this opportunity to share your thoughts with us. If you have any questions, please contact well-being@cumc.columbia.edu.

Thank you in advance for your participation and support of the Well-Being Survey.

Sincerely,
